Terms of Service

NOS Trailing — mobile app

§1 Definitions

The terms used in these Terms of Service mean:

  • Service Provider - Edu-Strefa, contact: contact@nos-trailing.com
  • App - the NOS Trailing mobile application for Android
  • User - a person using the App
  • Account - an individual User account in the App
  • Trail - a GPS record consisting of geographic points, waypoints and metadata
  • Premium - the paid version of the App with extended features
  • Free - the free version of the App with basic features
  • Terms - these Terms of Service

§2 General Provisions

  1. These Terms govern the use of the NOS Trailing application.
  2. Use of the App requires acceptance of these Terms.
  3. The App is intended for recording and analysing GPS trails for mantrailing dog training purposes.
  4. The App is available free of charge (Free version) and as a paid Premium version.
  5. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms for valid reasons (regulatory changes, new features). Amendments take effect 7 days after publication.

§3 Technical Requirements

To use the App you need:

  • A device running Android 7.0 or newer
  • Internet access (for data synchronisation)
  • GPS location enabled
  • At least 100 MB of free storage
  • Location and storage permissions granted

§4 Registration and Account

  1. Registration is voluntary but necessary to use the App.
  2. Users register by providing: email, first name, last name and password.
  3. After registration, the User receives an email with a verification link.
  4. The User agrees to:
    • Provide accurate information
    • Keep their password confidential
    • Not share their account with third parties
    • Report unauthorised account access immediately
  5. One account may be used by one person only.
  6. Users may delete their account at any time (Options → Account → Delete account).

§5 Free and Premium Plans

Free

  • Maximum 1 dog in profile
  • Maximum 15 saved trails
  • Joining organisations
  • OpenStreetMap only
  • No trail analysis
  • No weather data
  • Cannot create organisations

Premium (paid)

  • Unlimited number of dogs
  • Unlimited number of trails
  • Google Maps + OpenStreetMap
  • Trail analysis (comparing dog and human trails)
  • Automatic weather data (temperature, humidity)
  • Creating your own organisations

Premium price:

  • €1.49 / month (monthly subscription)
  • €11.99 / year (annual subscription — save ~33%)

Premium payments are processed by Stripe via nos-trailing.com. Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time. No refunds are issued for unused subscription periods.

§6 User Rights and Obligations

The User has the right to:

  • Use the App in accordance with these Terms
  • Delete their account at any time
  • Export their data (GPX, JSON)
  • Cancel Premium at any time

The User agrees to:

  • Use the App in compliance with applicable law and good practices
  • Refrain from actions that could disrupt the App's operation
  • Not use the App for purposes inconsistent with its intended use
  • Respect intellectual property rights
  • Not introduce offensive, unlawful or third-party rights-infringing content

Prohibited actions include:

  • Interfering with the App's source code
  • Attempting to hack the system or other users' accounts
  • Distributing viruses, trojans or malicious software
  • Copying, modifying or decompiling the App
  • Using the App in a way that infringes third-party rights

§7 Liability

  1. The Service Provider is not liable for:
    • GPS inaccuracy due to weather conditions or terrain
    • App downtime due to server failures, updates or force majeure
    • Data loss caused by user error or device damage
    • Damage resulting from improper use of the App
  2. Users use the App at their own risk and responsibility.
  3. The App is intended for training purposes only and does not replace professional GPS equipment.
  4. The Service Provider reserves the right to schedule technical downtime for maintenance and updates.
  5. The Service Provider makes every effort to ensure the App operates correctly but does not guarantee 100% availability.

§8 Complaints

  1. Complaints regarding the App can be submitted to: contact@nos-trailing.com
  2. A complaint should include:
    • Contact details (email)
    • Description of the issue
    • Date the issue occurred
    • Device model and Android version (if applicable)
  3. Complaints are handled within 14 business days.
  4. Responses are sent to the email address provided in the complaint.
  5. Complaints regarding Premium payments should be directed to contact@nos-trailing.com.

§9 Account Deletion and Termination

  1. Users may delete their account at any time in the App settings.
  2. Upon account deletion, all data (trails, dogs, organisations) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
  3. Deleting an account does not entitle the User to a refund for an unused Premium period (monthly subscription).
  4. The Service Provider may delete a User's account in the event of:
    • Serious violation of these Terms
    • Using the App in an unlawful manner
    • 24 months of inactivity
  5. Before the Service Provider deletes an account, the User will be notified by email with 14 days' notice.

§10 Intellectual Property

  1. All rights to the App (source code, graphics, logo, name) belong to the Service Provider.
  2. Users may not copy, modify, distribute or reproduce the App without the Service Provider's consent.
  3. Data generated by the User (GPS trails, dog profiles) belongs to the User.
  4. The User grants the Service Provider a licence to process and store such data for the purpose of providing services.

§11 Amendments to the Terms

  1. The Service Provider reserves the right to amend these Terms.
  2. Users will be notified of changes by email and in-app notification.
  3. Amendments take effect 7 days after publication.
  4. Continued use after 7 days constitutes acceptance of the changes.
  5. If a User does not accept the changes, they may delete their account.

§12 Final Provisions

  1. Matters not covered by these Terms are governed by Polish law.
  2. All disputes shall be resolved by the court with jurisdiction over the Service Provider's registered office.
  3. These Terms enter into force on 4 February 2026.
